Motivated by a vision to redefine education beyond examination results, Yoyo is committed to empowering students in Hong Kong to embrace purposeful and meaningful learning. Her journey began with reflecting on her own experience in the Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) examinations, where she recognised the overwhelming pressures often overshadowed opportunities for self-discovery and meaningful career exploration. To address this, she co-manages a digital education platform that offers free resources, university selection guidance, and career exploration advice. Through these efforts, Yoyo has witnessed how compassionate support helps students make informed decisions and build confidence while navigating uncertain paths.
Eager to broaden her perspective, Yoyo has gained hands-on experience in real-business projects through consulting engagements with 180 Degrees Consulting and the Cambridge Consulting Network. Applying business insights to advance sustainability initiatives and client strategies, she has honed her ability to integrate social impact with commercial viability. Excelling in case competitions, Yoyo has earned accolades including Champion of the HKGCC Business Case Competition and 1st Runner-Up at the Joint University Case Competition, where she developed solutions.
With the support of The D. H. Chen Foundation Scholarship Programme, Yoyo aspires to expand her initiatives into structured workshops, mentorship programmes, and online tools that integrate career exploration into Hong Kong’s education system. She envisions a compassionate society where students are guided not only to succeed in exams, but also to discover authentic passions, empowering them to thrive and contribute meaningfully.
