Man Sing is majoring in Electrical Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has been keen on exploring and applying knowledge in the aspect of sciences and mathematics since his secondary education. He would like to be a professional electrical engineer who can contribute to society in the future. To achieve that, he is actively participating in various activities and competitions.

As a committee member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers Student Chapter at PolyU, Man Sing would like to shoulder the responsibility to organize some meaningful activities such as technical visits and social services, both of which would benefit to other students and society.  Apart from that, he is a member of the Engineering Club managed by the Department of Electrical Engineering. It allows him to be able to participate in international competitions related to underwater robotics, through which he has learnt a lot.

Man Sing believes that The D. H. Chen Foundation Scholarship is not only an achievement. With the mentorship program and the vast Scholar network, the Scholarship will also provide him with great support to achieve his personal and social aspiration.
