Witnessing the struggles of the oppressed, Michelle strives to amplify their voices, working towards a future where justice prevails and all individuals are treated with dignity.
Michelle’s personal battles with mental health challenges fuel her commitment to challenging misconceptions and advocating for policy changes. Through education and empathy, she seeks to reshape societal views on mental illnesses, offering support and understanding to those in need.

As a member of the Hong Kong Student Alliance on Student Suicide, she leads efforts to prioritize mental health in educational settings, fostering a culture of openness and support for struggling students. Her initiatives, including street booths, workshops, and campaigns, underscore her dedication to building a society that values mental wellbeing.

With the support from The D. H. Chen Foundation, Michelle aims to make tangible strides toward positive change. Through continued efforts with the Hong Kong Student Alliance on Student Suicide and collaborations with youth and mental health organizations, she plans to deepen her impact on normalizing discussions around mental health. By fostering a trusting and accepting community, she endeavors to create a safe space for young individuals to voice their struggles and seek support, propelling her vision of a more compassionate and understanding society forward.
