Young and energetic, Lance absolutely hates falling ill. By testing Chinese Medicine theories and teachings through self-experimentation, his belief in a self-disciplined and responsible lifestyle grows stronger day by day. He discovers that health is the foundation of personal happiness and subsequently believes that the betterment of public health is the prerequisite of building a peaceful and compassionate society. He aspires to be not only a Chinese medicine practitioner but also an educator who can share the valuable philosophy of taking full responsibility for our own health.
Showered with love and care since birth, Lance considers himself the luckiest person alive. As a lifeaholic, he takes interest in everything ranging from tennis, archery, cello, piano, philosophy and literature to punk rock musicians, Tsai Chih Chung comics and Paul Thomas Anderson movies.
Lance believes in serving others as the ultimate purpose of life. As a volunteer in two centres at the Tung Wah Groups of Hospitals Jockey Club Rehabilitation Complex, he plays music for and exercises with the mentally challenged and the handicapped. He is the President of the CW Chu College Service Team 2021-2022, organizing social services for the homeless, disadvantaged youth and the mentally challenged. He is also awarded the 2021-2022 Grantham Scholars of the year.
Excited about becoming a The D. H. Chen Foundation Scholar, Lance wishes to improve and acquire valuable skills and knowledge in order to realize the eccentric dreams he has in mind.
