Jimmy is a dedicated leader committed to empowering others and driving positive social change. He is eager to foster growth and cultivate new leaders rather than mere followers.

Jimmy has been volunteering with the Hong Kong Red Cross since Secondary 1, where he has continuously learned and applied his knowledge to make positive impact in the community. He has led different service projects related to marginalized communities, such as Soci Game, engaging fellow secondary school students in these initiatives. His primary aspiration is to maximize the learning experience for his teammates and participants throughout the entire preparation and participation processes. Meanwhile, he also aims to promote social inclusion and foster empathy among those involved. His contributions have been recognized with the “Red Cross Youth of the Year” award in 2022, and the Silver Award of Volunteer Hours (Individual) award in 2024.

Jimmy aspires to become an entrepreneur focused on using technology to improve the lives of the underprivileged. Recognizing that many individuals are often neglected in this prosperous society, he believes that technological advancements can significantly enhance their living conditions. In that respect, pursuing a second major in Computer Science has equipped him with the expertise needed to realize this vision.

As one of the new Scholars, Jimmy looks forward to utilizing the Social Good Fund to execute impactful initiatives that blend scientific innovation with volunteer service. He hopes to inspire children to understand society better and leverage technology to address pressing social issues.
