Cheri is a proactive and forward-thinking student who is passionate about the intersections of business and social impact. As a member of her university’s case competition team, she actively participates in diverse local and international competitions. She was named champion in the HSBC/HKU Hong Kong Business Case Competition, and subsequently represented Hong Kong in the APAC round. These experiences sharpened her analytical skills, honed her problem-solving abilities, and deepened her collaborative approach to tackling complex challenges. She is also dedicated to harnessing business innovation for social good.

Beyond academics, Cheri believes that successful businesses should prioritise empathy and actively address pressing societal issues. She views business not merely as a vehicle for generating profit, but as a powerful tool to alleviate social inequities and promote sustainable progress. Since secondary school, Cheri has immersed herself in impactful volunteering, including her involvement in the Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme and contributions to a nonprofit start-up. Engaging with diverse communities and learning their stories has been profoundly eye-opening, offering her insights into societal challenges and different cultural perspectives. Cheri treasures these authentic connections and values every opportunity to exchange ideas and build relationships with individuals across different backgrounds.

Cheri aspires to become a compassionate and socially-attuned leader, dedicated to driving innovative solutions that address global needs. With a vision to bridge the gap between business success and social responsibility, she is committed to empowering future generations and fostering a more equitable and sustainable world.
