Alison is an undergraduate student studying Financial Services at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. As a conscientious business student, she bears her social responsibility in mind and speaks out loud with actions. She is an active volunteer for The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. As a Hong Kong Youth Ambassador, Alison is a tour guide showing travelers around the city’s attractions, as well as participates and assists in large-scale tourism and hospitality events. Passionate about education, she is also a regular tutor co-teaching computer lessons in primary schools as a CoolThink Ambassador, a program aiming to inspire students to apply digital creativity in daily lives. Alison’s ultimate goal is to contribute by applying the knowledge she acquires. She aspires to provide financial consulting services for NGOs, start-ups and disadvantaged families. At leisure, she loves playing logic puzzles to de-stress and refresh her brain. Through the inspirations from other Scholars and Mentors of the Scholarship, she hopes to identify how she can contribute in her own way for a better Hong Kong.
