Driven by a deep compassion for children in need, Alfa actively volunteers with special needs children at his local church, IslandECC, where he nurtures their spiritual and personal growth. Before this, he led Pinehill Village, a service program at Hong Chi Association in Tai Po, where he recruited, trained, and organized over 40 high school volunteers to support staff and care for special-needs children.

Combining his passion for watches and a desire to make a difference, Alfa designed custom watches to raise awareness about child poverty. Through successful sales, he donated all proceeds to Oxfam and UNICEF. The experience highlighted for Alfa the powerful role businesses can play in driving impact, proving that innovative ideas can generate real value from the ground up.

Engaging in scientific research has further fueled Alfa’s love for the sciences and underscored its role in driving innovations that lead to long-term, transformative solutions, creating impact in ways that businesses alone often cannot.
